# Ekblad Advisory

> Ekblad Advisory is a private psychological advisory practice for executives, founders, and creative leaders, founded by Isaac Ekblad, MA, LMHC, a licensed mental health counselor in Washington State (License #LH61247990). The work is conducted under counselor-client privilege and draws on psychoanalytic depth psychology in the British object relations tradition. Engagements are weekly 90-minute sessions, beginning with twelve weeks. Inquiries go to isaac@ekblad.co.

## What This Is

A private space to feel what you've been managing.

I work at the intersection of psychoanalytic depth and the lived reality of consequential work. Most of the Advisory clients I work with think for a living, and they're very good at it. What tends to go quiet is a slower kind of attention to what they feel, sense and intuit. When thinking and feeling come back into dialogue, decisions start to come from what's truest in you rather than from reflex, momentum or fear.

What I offer is a relationship with someone who takes your accomplishments seriously without mistaking them for the whole of you and who won't need you to be coherent before you're ready.

This work is conducted under my license in Washington State, with the legal protections of counselor-client privilege. No board, investor or court can make me repeat what you tell me, outside the narrow exceptions the law allows. Few rooms are that private.

## Structure

- Weekly, 90 minutes, held at a consistent time.
- The initial engagement is twelve weeks.
- Capacity is limited. Admission is by application and brief conversation.
- Additional state licenses are in progress.
- Fees and terms are shared during the application process.

## About the Founder

Isaac Ekblad, MA, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor and psychodynamic psychotherapist in Washington State. He is co-founder of the Cascadia Psychodynamic Training Clinic (CPTC) in Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood, and maintains a private psychotherapy practice, Cascadia Psychotherapy. He holds a BA in Philosophy from Lewis & Clark College and an MA in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. He has maintained weekly clinical supervision under an Oxford-based psychoanalyst for seven years. His theoretical orientation is rooted in object relations, depth psychology, and existential traditions. Before his clinical career, he worked as an international fashion model (2012-2014), with credits including Givenchy, Mugler, Jil Sander, Dior Homme, British GQ, and Arena Homme+.
